MVP - TennisMVP Band for Tennis & Racquetball
The most common injury for a tennis player is injury to the rotator cuff.

Injury can be avoided with proper stretching, strengthening and arm care. This is important for players of all ages - from youth up to senior.

The MVP Band for Tennis & Racquetball is portable and effective arm strengthening & resistence stretching device, available in four designs: the Pro and Junior Series, in both single and double band options.

The Pro Series double band, our most popular tennis product, offers stretching of both arms simultaneously and is the preferred band for court and home use. The Junior series is primarily recommended for youth players ages 12 and under. When purchasing, simply select the band type (single or double) and your preferred resistence strength (Pro or Junior Series). You can also opt for the Pro Series or Junior Series band. The difference lies in the strength of the tubing. Generally, the Junior Series is recommended for male players ages 10 and under and female players ages 14 and under.

Why Tennis Players should choose MVP Band

The rotator cuff/shoulder muscles are the single most injured set of muscles for tennis players. An article from USTA entitled “Healthy Tennis” - Shoulder Injuries in Tennis states:

" injury to the tendon attachment of the rotator cuff is the single most common injury in tennis. Injuries can range from a simple tendonitis/ strain to tearing of the tendon insertion from bone. Milder injuries are seen in younger age groups while more severe injuries are associated with higher levels of play. Typically overuse of the muscles result in fatigue of the rotator cuff muscles which in turn impairs the dynamic stabilizing effect of the muscles. ."

"The shoulder girdle is the anatomical link between the arm and the body which transmits force from the lower body and torso to the racket. This joint plays a pivotal role because of its tremendous range of motion. It is precisely because of this reason that the shoulder is prone to injury."

Tennis injuries can be prevented by selecting the right equipment, warming up and cooling down properly, stretching before and after playing, good nutrition as well as conditioning or strengthening yourself to play the game. This is where the MVP Band comes into play.

The MVP Band allows for isolated strengthening and stretching of your rotator cuff muscles. It's portable, so you can use your MVP Band on the court during warm-up and warm-down - no gym or workout room is required to use the MVP Band.

Don't wait to get sore or injured to strengthen these crucial muscles. Avoid being sidelined by injury. And while the MVP Band can be used as a rehabilitative tool, be preventative in your approach and allow the MVP Band/Program to give you a stronger arm, better game and longer tennis career.
